Lecturer in Law and PhD candidate specialising in human rights law, corporate accountability, and food governance. My research critically examines the application of human rights frameworks to multinational corporations in the food industry , particularly focusing on the regulation of ultra-processed foods through legally binding Human Rights Due Diligence mechanisms.
With significant experience teaching across core legal subjects , curriculum development, and student mentorship, I am committed to integrating innovative teaching methods with contemporary research. I have a strong background in science and equip students to think scientifically, applying critical, analytical, and methodical approaches when tackling complex legal issues.
PhD SCOPE
My PhD research examines the feasibility of using Human Rights Due Diligence as a legally binding regulatory mechanism to hold multinational food corporations accountable for the production, marketing, and sale of ultra-processed foods.
It investigates how integrating human rights principles into food governance frameworks can mitigate public health risks, protect cultural food systems, and promote environmental sustainability.

Delivered thought-provoking lectures on artificial intelligence, criminal law, ethics, and free will, stimulating discussion and critical thinking. Provided detailed insights into academic pathways, university life, course structures, and career opportunities, fostering informed decision-making and student engagement. Collaborated effectively with colleagues to create an impactful, informative, and dynamic educational experience.
