• Leading a team of GIS and Remote Sensing Analysts, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
• Facilitating professional development opportunities for team members.

Project Planning:

• Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to incorporate geospatial information into the planning and execution of carbon sequestration projects.
• Ensuring that GIS activities align with project goals and timelines.

Quality Assurance:

• Implementing quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of geospatial data and analyses.
• Conducting regular reviews of maps, reports, and other deliverables produced by the team.

Technology and Innovation:

• Staying informed about advancements in GIS and remote sensing technologies.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance the team's capabilities through the adoption of new tools or methodologies.

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

• Collaborating with other departments, such as Partnerships. Monitoring, verification and Reporting to integrate GIS and remote sensing into a holistic approach for carbon sequestration.

• Acquiring and collecting relevant geospatial data, including satellite imagery and remote sensing data related to carbon sequestration areas.
• Processing and analyzing spatial data to extract meaningful information on land cover, vegetation, and other relevant parameters.

Mapping and Visualization:

• Creating accurate and detailed maps depicting carbon sequestration potential and related features using GIS software.
• Generating visualizations to communicate spatial information effectively to stakeholders.

Spatial Analysis:

• Conducting spatial analysis to identify suitable areas for carbon sequestration projects based on ecological, geological, and climatic factors.
