I have a HR license. Various driving qualifications from the RFS.

I am currently the Captain of Shannons Flat Fire Brigade since 2019. Maintaining Trucks with crew and equipment officer is a high focus each month. I also help volunteers gain their truck License through the RFS system.

I worked for Perisher Ski Resorts Transport Division in 1975 and 1976 as snow cat operator, shuttle bus and general truck and 4x4 driver.

I have worked for the DMR Jindabyne Snow Clearing 1980 to 1983 on the Alpine way so I know how to safely drive on the snowy roads.

I was on TBM from Bullocks Flat to Perisher as a miner or actually a tunneller and rock bolted the tunnel after break through and ended up Portal Supervisor.

I have run a Training and Development business from 1990 to 2015 focusing on Team Leadership, Team Development and Team Leader Safety Facilitation. Snowy Hydro was one of my clients along with most major banks, the big four accountancy firms, UNSW AGSM and a hundred plus of major companies. I certainly know how to clean a white board, set up a training room and clean. I know how to be on time or at least have learnt it is vitally important so I am punctual.

So why am I going for this job: Truthfully after zooming around the planet mountaineering, skiing, bushwalking, sailing and 4x4ing etc and Centre Link decimating our age pension because of the Valuer General land valuation I need a job for a while so we can reset for a couple of years. I like the sound of this job as it would suit where I am as going back onto a TBM is probably unrealistic.

I am fit, still skiing back country and resort, over night bush walking and Mt Biking Ok on a ebike!
