Currently working in 2 Cape York indigenous communities providing holistic care to families across the Antenatal, Postnatal and Child Health continuum up to 12 years of age.

Employed in the universal service working in partnership with families, many vulnerable with complex needs to promote health and optimise childhood development and wellbeing.

Represented the professional issues of Australian Nurses and Midwives. This role entailed the development and reviewing of ANMF national policy, position statements, guidelines, reports and governing professional practice standards. Also a member of the ANMF Professional Advisory committee.

Provided direct patient care in the Neonatal Intensive care to high acuity unwell neonates. Speciality experience in airway management, resuscitation, management of central lines and care of invasive surgical patients.

• Provide leadership whilst on shift as an in-charge staff member, also acting Hospital Coordinator. Performed administrative duties such as rostering, work hours & appraisals. Clinical Specialities include, Special Care Nursery, Birth Suite, Postnatal & General Medical/ Surgical.

Specialising in fertility nursing as a Pregnancy Liaison Nurse, providing care to patients undergoing fertility treatment. Performed administrative duties, facilitation of education & Pre and Post operative care. Assisting Medical and laboratory team in reproductive technology procedures.

Worked as a Band 5 Clinical Nurse in the Gastrointestinal care centre providing acute clinical care to high acuity surgical and oncology patients.

Worked as a Graduate Nurse providing direct patient care, gained experience in both medical and surgical nursing.
