-Main role is picking frames and matching them to job.
-keeping control of safety frame stock.
-ordering new stock.
-communicating with suppliers on issues related with frames.
-communicating with various Customer Service team at OSA / PSG and Luxottica on issues related with safety job's.
-Quality Control on finished job's.
-Assembling lenses into frames.
-Operating the MEI edger for safety job's.

-Organise labour plans for 28 staff.
-Waste Management, finding with ways to reduce waste and improving work flow.
-Organising staff training.
-Manage all staff leave, taking necessary actions to keep under control and that we have the correct amount of people away.
-Completing all production and shift reports.

-Reducing production waste from 8% down to 5%
-Improving skill levels of staff with on the job training.
-Regularly meet and exceed production KPI's with staff claiming higher bonus.
- Starting up all the machines.
-Ensuring best utilisation of machinery and working with engineering to fix problems.
-Report any equipment issues to the supervisor.
-Report any staff issues with the supervisor.
Doing waste control.
-Fill in gaps on production floor, when staff are away, doing checking and assembling.
-Make staff are following safety and work procedures.
- Final Inspection of finished jobs.

-Assisting the supervisor with 5 optical technicians
