I am currently employed with Broken Hill Metro Petroleum.

During my time here, I feel my confidence has grown greatly as I have learnt to work quickly and efficiently in fast paced and stressful environments. There are times when other staff are out on deliveries, this means I am left to run the store alone and have yet to encounter any concerns.

I have also trained new staff and received compliments from upper management on my abilities.

Some of my duties with Metro include but are not limited to :

• Assisted customers with pump selection and payment options.
• Operated cash register, processed payments, and balanced drawer daily.
• Performed minor maintenance on equipment such as pumps and air hoses.
• Provided fuel information to customers and answered questions regarding products or services.
• Stocked shelves with merchandise such as snacks, beverages, cigarettes, oil products, ice cream and other convenience items.
• Maintained cleanliness of store area including wiping down counters and sweeping floors.
• Verified age for tobacco purchases using valid identification cards.
• Handled customer complaints in a professional manner while providing satisfactory solutions to their issues.
• Responded to emergency situations calmly and efficiently following the company's established protocol.
• Followed company guidelines for safe food handling practices when stocking refrigerators or freezers with food items.
• Reported any suspicious activity to management promptly.
• Cleaned parking areas, restrooms or equipment and removed trash.
• Prepared a variety of food items and hot beverages according to customer orders or restaurant recipes.

I am currently doing odd jobs for my pop within his business.

These jobs include yard work such as:-

• Rolling tie downs
• Spray painting name templates
• General yard work/cleaning

During my time at Cheap as Chips I was responsible for customer service both serving at the check outs and answering general inquiries on the shop floor.

I also had other responsibilities such as:-

• Cleaning
• Tidying and organizing shelves
• Stacking shelves
• General customer service
• Money handling

I enjoyed my time at Cheap as Chips but felt it was time to move on to greater responsibilities and more work hours.

At J and K I was responsible for general convenience store duties including:

• Stocking shelves and fridges
• Bagging sweets
• Serving customers
• General cleaning and tidying
