• My role as a Specialist Youth Officer for the NSW Police Force involves implementing strategies to reduce Juvenile crime. This is done through Crime Prevention and Safety talks in Schools, Crime reduction programs for Juveniles, while also liaising with other Youth agencies to address the underlying factors contributing to Youth Crime and antisocial behaviour.
• In this role, I have developed skills in gathering and utilizing intelligence to support crime prevention and intervention with at-risk young people. This is done through identifying patterns of behavior and 'hotspot locations' for youth crime.
• I assist and provide advice to the frontline police officers to ensure they adhere to the requirements for Young People under the 'Young Offenders Act,' 1997.
• As a Specialist Youth Officer, I am the primary point of contact for my Area Command between the NSW Police and NSW Youth Justice.

As a member of the NSW Police Force, I am responsible for maintaining public safety and providing assistance to the community. Over the course of this field, I have acquired a diverse range of skills, including:

• Highly developed in managing cases and situations that involve working with high-risk clients and their families.
• Having gained extensive experience in providing the community with safety, maintaining peace, investigating incidents, and conducting preliminary investigations of events related to stealing, youth offenses, traffic accidents, and assaults.
• Gained an ability to analyze situations and adapt quickly to high-pressure situations, and therefore, I am able to conduct a reasonable course of action.
• I am able to effectively deal with individuals with a diverse social and economic background, with a proven ability to remain calm and deliver in high-pressure situations.

• As a Youth Leader at summer camp, I mentored, instructed, and supervised participating youths aged 5-16 years through providing one-on-one guidance, while encouraging development through a diverse range of activities.
• As a youth leader, I observed camper behavior, assessed its appropriateness, enforced appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures, while also applying appropriate behavior-management techniques.

• While being a youth ambassador for Charles Sturt University in Bathurt, I delivered daily tours of campus for prospective students and families, pointing out buildings and detailing student life and activities.
• Coached students on strategies for engaging in campus life, and checked in frequently to satisfy diverse needs. While maintaining professionalism and efficiency while working closely with leadership.
• Scheduled campus visits for large school groups, guidance counselors, and independent consultants.
• Helped with registration processes and applications.
• I attended high schools around local areas and delivered speeches to students to promote and educate the students about the life of being a university student.
