  • Successfully advocated for Council implementation of various initiatives, including MABELS family violence program, which involved engaging with Boroondara Mayor and other key leadership figures.
  • Managed and coordinated multi-departmental projects within Council, including the establishment of pop-up libraries across Boroondara, in collaboration with Arts and Culture, Libraries, Capital Works, and Active Aging departments.
  • Managed Council's Child Safe Policy portfolio, ensuring compliance with Child Safe standards and identifying opportunities for improvement. Worked collaboratively with the Child Safe Standards Project Working Group to advocate for the rights, wellbeing, and safety of children in the community.
  • Supported team building and cohesion within the Community Wellbeing department by facilitating the development and implementation of a team vision statement, which involved extensive consultation with a diverse staff base including policy staff, maternal and child health nurses, and immunisation nurses.
  • Coordinated multi-departmental grant applications, notably securing a $150,000 federal grant for the restoration of the historically and politically significant St. James Park War Memorial in Hawthorn. Developed the grant application in collaboration with community organizations and local politicians.
