I have achieved my qualifications in a Bachelor’s Degree of Ancient History, as well as furthering this knowledge through a postgraduate degree, Graduates Degree of Ancient History. Through my time completing these higher education degrees I have learnt a range of valuable skills including critical thinking, ability to engage and conduct research, data collection and management, handling of artefacts and overall knowledge of not only the ancient world, but also material culture, preservation methods and museum practices. Amongst my formal education I have also worked under the guidance of a historical archaeologist when completing an internship at The Artefact Post in 2022, where I developed valuable workplace skills in urban assemblage analysis, photography and labelling of artefacts, problem solving and digital data management. To further this tangible experience I completed an abroad internship to Athens, Greece, in 2023 where I learnt from experts in their field and gained practical experience and knowledge of key ancient artistic methods. To highlight my ability to both work independently and as a part of a group, I have obtained my Leadership Diploma. My academic history, experience within the field of arts and history, as well as my genuine love and appreciation for all aspects of history and cultural preservation has resulted in myself being capable, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
