I am a professional, passionate and dedicated nursing student and I believe I am a great candidate for the Graduate Nursing Program at Warringal Private. I have extensive experience in the clinical environment through professional placement as well as 2 years experience of working as an undergraduate nurse. I work collaboratively and professionally in a team, I possess great interpersonal skills as well as therapeutic communication, I am dedicated and hardworking and have a passion for nursing and patient care, I love learning and ensure that I am always increasing my knowledge to provide adequate and high quality care.

- Rehabilitation unit. Gained experience with patient personal care, manual handling, frequent patient rounding, vital sign observations

Warringal Private: 05/22 (25 days)

- Roberts, Orthopaedic unit. Gained experience with medication administration (subcutaneous and intravenous), preparing intravenous antibiotics, caring for post operative patients and gaining knowledge of post operative procedures, patient personal care, manual handling, frequent patient rounding, vital sign observation and observation of clinical deterioration 

Alfred Health: 06/22 (5 days)

- Outpatient burns unit. Gained experience of complex wound dressings, engaged in therapeutic conversation and care, administered intravenous medication, aided in pain management, provided education to patients

Monash Health: 09/22 (20 days)

- Clayton CCT. Gained experience and education surrounding outpatient mental health patients, administered intramuscular medication, provided education and support to patients and their families, engaged in multidisciplinary team meetings surrounding patient care

Eastern Health: 04/22 (25 days)

- Maroondah Hospital 3 East (General Surgical). Worked closely in a team environment, cared for post operative patients and gained knowledge and experience of post operative procedures, administered intravenous, subcutaneous and intramuscular medication, prepared intravenous anti biotics, worked closely with behavioural and dementia patients, contributed to multidisciplinary team meetings about patient care and developing a plan, provided end of life care, contributed during multiple MET calls and documented clinical decline, performed ECG's.

- Maroondah Hospital, Perioperative unit. Gained experience in PACU, Scrub Scout and Anaesthetic nurse, scrubbed into multiple procedures and worked as scrub scout nurse unassisted, removed LMA and provided necessary care to patients recovering from anaesthesia, provided education and support to patients pre operatively, worked closely with the anaesthetist while performing jaw support and oxygen administration

- Box Hill Hospital, Emergency Department. Gained experience in the main ED, paediatric ED and triaging patients, provided education to patients surrounding their care, developed knowledge surrounding paediatric nursing and clinical criteria, administered intramuscular and intravenous medication, contributed to nursing team during a code blue, performed and interpret ECG's.
