  • Caring for a complex patient cohort, including a large population of First Nations patients accessing surgical care "off Country"; and working closely with the Aboriginal Liaison Officer to provide comprehensive, culturally safe care.
  • Working alongside the multidisciplinary team to educate patients who have received life-changing diagnoses and procedures. This included diabetes education, stoma education, and support for new amputees.
  • Auditing ward safety and operations in my role as the Occupational Health and Safety Officer.
