• Customer Service: Woolworths places a strong emphasis on customer service, so there I was able to develop excellent customer service skills, including communication, problem-solving, and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints.
• Communication: Effective communication with both colleagues and customers is crucial in a retail setting, helping me to improve both my verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Retail Software and Technology: During my time in each of the three departments, I had the opportunity to acquire proficiency with various devices and technologies, gaining valuable technical skills.
• Time Management: Juggling multiple customer interactions, tasks, and responsibilities taught me how to manage my time effectively to provide prompt service.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring that products are correctly placed, well-organized, and properly labeled requires a keen eye for detail to maintain the store's appearance and efficiency.
• Organization: Keeping track of various products, knowing where they belong on the shelves, and maintaining a well-organized stockroom contribute to my organizational skills.
