• I worked closely with a family of four who all had different personal needs. I was closest with the son who liked gaming and other things but managed to get him out of his shell into more physical activities. I would help all of them maintain a healthy living environment, take them to appointments or hobbies. And also be a real person to them, who could listen or Just be there for whatever they needed. I also went on a cruise around Australia with co workers and this family and all “sailed” well.

During my time Labouring at a roofing company | picked up more diverse skills, physical skills and using the mind for different tasks than I was used to. I mainly set up safety railing and scaffolding, which requires high planning and safety management to ensure no workplace injuries. I also took a light hand on the tools with other trades at the company, doing little bits of Plumbing, Carpentry and Roofing also.

During my time at Bunnings I worked in the general customer service area doing Trolley collection, Working on registers and helping customers get what they needed. Though I shined most in the Goods inwards sector, where I oversaw stock intake aswell as distribution. I picked up many skills seperate to the customer service side, such as working in a High risk environment. Safe handling practices and safe handling of goods. Use of a forklift and other electric machinery. And working with logistics.
