  • Responsible for allocating arrivals and departures of Livestock through the yards
  • Responsible for the watering, feeding and monitoring of all livestock
  • Operate machinery to feed livestock and perform other tasks
  • Complete and record necessary documentation (NVD's and Waybills) into computer systems and folders
  • Operate systems to allow vendors to weigh livestock for sale purposes
  • Responsible for scanning and transferring detectable NILS devices in livestock to their documented destination
  • Responsible for keeping documentation on all Livestock coming through the yards and entering information into the database
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with vendors and agents
  • Contact vendors regarding livestock whereabouts, health and feeding requirements
  • Clean animal stalls, pens/yards, water troughs and equipment
  • Responsible for the humanely disposal of deceased, injured, or ill livestock
