Summary

I am an accomplished School Psychologist with a strong desire to meet students where they are at, to ensure they feel appreciated just as they are. Establishing rapport and trust with young people is essential to making positive change in their lives.

I have expertise in delivering solution-focused brief therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. I am very familiar with the complex and nuanced issues that arise in school environments on a daily basis. I love to work alongside my colleagues to achieve the most satisfying and meaningful outcomes for our students.

School counselling is hard work at times and it is important to be part of a supportive and compassionate team. In turn, I feel it is my responsibility to be that sort of person myself, so that others are able to bring their "best self" to the work environment.

As a committed Christian, and a regular worshiper at the Restore Church in Castle Hill, I feel my work as a Psychologist is something God has led me to, and gifted me for. While I don't have all the answers (even with so much experience) I have steady assurance that this is the work I want to continue to do.

I am ready for a new challenge as part of Roseville College and am excited about the possibilities that come with starting at a new school.
