Restaurant Waiter (December 2022 – Current)

I currently work part-time as a server at an Asian restaurant. Working as a waiter can be stressful because of the fast-paced nature of the work, high client expectations, and the need to multitask. When under stress, the job and responsibilities of a waiter may necessitate extra concentration and adaptability.

Since I served over 100 customers a day and properly 50 customers from the delivery platform. Problem-solving, Multitasking, teamwork and verbal communication can be trained during work time. I must communicate with customers in the kitchen if customers have specific requirements. Sometimes I had to manage orders, receive phone calls, tidy, and clean the table, and be the cashier at the same time. I have great teamwork with my co-workers to finish all the jobs efficiently. As a result, we were able to finish the orders as much as we could, and the restaurant revenues increased. Improvement in customer satisfaction and increased efficiency.

Fundraising Assistant (August 2019 – August 2020)

Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Hong Kong

As Fundraising Assistant at Hong Kong Health care organisation - Tung Wah Group of Hospital for 1 year. Verbal Communication trained through talking with other volunteers and unfamiliar people that we are trying to raise funds. We used the funds to buy some necessities and deliver them to the poor people. The problem-solving ability is trained through this experience as well. And all our volunteer works together, like someone buying necessities, or someone communicating with unfamiliar people to get funds. Teamwork is also developed through this experience. As a result, the organisation got over $100 million through a lot of different ways.
