Company Overview - RESQ Plus is an indigenous company run by the Maraway group. RESQ is a employment service agency that focusing on upskilling individuals that are seeking employment.

• Daily phone monitoring and message relaying
• Creation of activity sheets for WFD activities
• Filling of registrations and any related documents on the DOCUWARE portal
• Working closely with the Employment consultants to ensure our weekly variances stay at a minimum
• Assisting our other offices with written and verbal guides to help with their work load
• Reaching out to Job Seekers with potential work and or courses on offer at the time
• Assisting Selectability each Friday with Community Cooking classes
• Completing a Bulk Pre-pop every 60 days
• Creating resumes for any Job Seekers in need
• Working closely with our Employment Consultant Coordinator and PAYTEC to ensure the smooth access of our Portals
• Completing daily data entry requirements as required by our government contract
• Ensuring all data filed is within compliant regulations
• Acting as on the ground IT support for the Longreach office, liaising with our IT admin that works remotely
• Managing company fleet/vehicles making sure pre starts and log books are done on time and filed accordingly
• During my time with RESQ i was given the opportunity to take over as Acting Team Leader for 3 months.
• Working closely with both regions to provide support in all areas of the company

Company Overview: Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame is a heritage centre that gets around 300-400 tourists a day in peak season and consists of a heritage display, cinema, stockman show and cafe.

• Ordering and maintaining stock with various suppliers, utilising their preferred methods (online portals, via phone, emails, etc.)
• Conducting meetings with potential suppliers
• Coordinating bookings for functions for large and intimate events, including managing dietary requirements
• Adjusting menu options and costings to maintain cafe profits
• Prepare food and drinks in line with food standards
• Participating in audits with the Environment and Health Officer
• Taking orders from consumers
• Clearing and cleaning of food areas
• Liaising with kitchen and cafe staff in relation to duties and rostering
• Where required, providing support in gift shop area which includes: Greeting customers and providing information about the region; Directing tourists through the facility; Processing purchases
• A key highlight while working for ASHOF, was in 2021 where I participated in the menu preparation, event coordination and on the ground running of the kitchen for the annual Food and Wine Festival
• This included working co-side one of Australia’s Master Chef winners, managing kitchen hands, stock control, directing table runners and presenting the night’s meals for a total of 400 Guests

• Conversing with national and international clients
• Checking machinery for any faults or safety issues on site
• Assisting with directing and maintaining large machinery
• Drilling, digging, cutting and washing of opal
• Maintaining environmental standards
• Relocating wildlife from excavation areas
• Camping out in remote areas by myself or with a team for weeks at a time
