I would like to obtain a senior leadership position to utilize my proven experience within the mining, civil and earthworks. I'm an experienced Indigenous Torres Strait Islander employee with over 28 years in mining and civil industry. I bring strong frontline leadership capability, a demonstrated leadership experience in a production, mining, and civil environment. Strong commitment to safety, risk management, and safe production principles. Proven people leadership capability, including coaching and performance management and managing teams from 8-50+ in production environment. I have strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to lead change, manage complexity, and deliver results through others. I’m currently sitting to obtain my Unrestricted Quarry Managers Ticket, and all relevant prerequisites have been Completed including Statutory Supervisor Assessment. As an indigenous employee it’s my passion to drive a diverse workforce and identify opportunities to promote growth in the business while continuing to adapt, develop and take on new challenges. As a highly experienced allrounder, trainer/assessor, Leader and mentor, I am confident I would bring value and an extensive knowledge with sound production mining and civil/earthworks background. I have been with Rio Tinto operations for 18 years.
