In my role managing the salt field and site civil works, I demonstrate strong leadership by coordinating a diverse range of operational activities while fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement. I conducted regular team meetings, facilitate training and assessments, and supported skills development to ensure teams capability is aligned with operational needs. Using Trimble GNSS equipment we carried out precise surveys for stock control and contributes to the analysis of stock quality and the development of effective reclaim plan to meet Production needs along with meeting both internal standards and customer specifications. I perform daily area inspections and safety interactions, consistently encouraging a safety-first mindset across all levels. My commitment to excellent workmanship ensure tasks were completed to the highest standards and in line with company expectations. In my role as a team leader, I was responsible for overseeing daily production operations and ensuring the efficient coordination of production tasks.   • Supervisory progression: Successfully applied for a Supervisor role in 2007 and was appointed Supervisor for Blue Crew.
  • Operational secondment: In late 2011, seconded to Port Hedland operations for three months to train newly hired Supervisors, conduct operator training, and assist with contract management supervision and recruitment.
