• Consistently followed FSANZ hygiene standards (such as maintaining workplace hygiene, such as regularly wiping and sanitizing facility and equipment after each use, and maintaining personal hygiene procedures)
• Regularly used knowledge of food safety in kitchen and while handling food, (such as learning how to handle and store high-risk foods and avoid contamination)
• Helped clean and set up product displays to for marketing, and attracting customer purchases
• Produced food and directly handled food for customers, such as cookies, beef burgers, lasagna and presentation of food
• Produced beverages, such as hot chocolate, coffees and Chai latte
• Worked as Barista and maintained regular hygiene at work station

While staying in Jabiru, Northern Territory for a month, I got a day's experience to help prepare food for the local community of a Jabiru living in shelters, with some Indigenous helpers

• Helped plan and organise ideas for meals to prepare
• Helped supply and unpack ingredients
• Assisted with packing meals
• Cooking process includes handling and cooking meat, crushing up garlic, handling herbs
• Assisted with delivering meals for jabiru elders, children and families

• Cleaned counter, machines, utensils and areas after each use
• Maintained and operated espresso machines, coffee grinder, commercial coffee brewers, coffee pots, and other equipment.
• Regularly discarded used coffee that went through the grinder and put it in the compost
• Took personal preferences from customers on how they want their coffee prepared, and followed these ideals up to standard, always recieving positive feedback

Am currently volunteering in CCARE as part of my community service work, and I have been preparing and handling food for people living in community housing and people in need.
