Summary

I am an enthusiastic student Registered Nurse soon to complete my degree and commence work into the nursing field. I currently work at Blooms the pharmacy where I have worked since completing year 12 and have thoroughly enjoyed my time and managed to build great skills that have translated successfully to nursing practice. I have flourished working within the community and enjoy talking to clients of all backgrounds who present at the pharmacy with big and small issues. I have developed a genuine passion for patient care, wound and disease management. I enjoy guiding patients in how to best manage their health issues and find great satisfaction in seeing small improvements in individuals health due to minor changes resulting in better care and management of their conditions. I have also loved treating patients with wounds and injuries, from small cuts and scrapes to large ulcers that require dressings and management. I have a keen interest in the skin and would love to explore this further in my future career.
