Member of the Tweed Aboriginal Organisations

Tweed Byron Local Aboriginal Land Council - I am not only an employee of this organisation but also a voting member since 1996. I take my membership seriously as being a member is about making informed decisions about conducting our business to uphold the legislation within the NSW Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1984 and being accountable for those decisions as a member.

Tweed Aboriginal Housing Co-Op - As a community member and supporter of the Housing Co-op I continue to uphold and support the administering of the housing supply and being accountable to the community in doing what is best for our people in this space.

Tweed Corporation for Sport - "Stingrays" - I am manager of the Stingrays Tweed Connexions Rugby League Football Team. I have managed this team in 2023 for 2 Indigenous Sports Carnivals in Yamba and Lismore.

Canowindra Aged Care - My mother was a ongoing supporter and member of the Aged Group and attended countless events and activities during her lifetime, and I supported her involvement and still do even though she is no longer with us. I feel it is important for us to continue to always make sure our Elderly and most treasured knowledge holders are looked after and taken care of in their last days.

Additional Information

5 Stones Leadership- I am a past student of the Leader Development in 2018 intake and now I am an Elder on the 5 Stones Leadership.

I have grown and learnt so much about myself as a Leader and an Aboriginal Christian Woman since starting my studies back in 2018.

I have enjoyed every part of my participation as a student but also as an Elder and I look forward to continue on this path of discovery and growth.
