I have been self employed for the last 35 years running my own shearing contracting business at times employing up to 50 staff in various roles.
The opportunity arose to take up the Farm Manager at Murnong, Inverleigh to run the farming operations 18 months ago.
Their farming operations consist of 3000 stud and commercial composite ewes and also selling up to 1000 stud rams annually.
They also have broadacre farming of cereal and grass crops for fodder production. This is done using GPS guided equipment on air seeders, sprayers and harvesters. We also use a 12 span pivot irrigator. I am confident and competent at using most farm equipment.
I have a current First Aid Certificate, Chemical Certificate and an MC Truck License.
I am looking to relocate to a position closer to home and my family.
