:The construction of a Datsun Stanza for tony Masling for the Australian Rally Championship and selected state rounds, also serviced on these events.

:Prepared and serviced Ford Escort for Jean-Louis Leyraud of Noumea for Motogard rally in New Zealand (finished 7th outright) world championship round.

:Prepared a Datsun 120y for Ron Marks for Safari rally of New Guinea, crewed on car and finished 3rd outright:


after hours assisted preperation on Group C XJS Jaguar for John Goss and Bob Tullis for Bathurst and crewed for this event.

Joined the Ford Factory Rally Team operated by Colin Bond.

:My first event was1979 Repco Round Australia Rally. Assisted in building and servicing three Ford Cortinas for this event for drivers Colin Bond, Greg Carr and George Fury.

After this event then switched to teams Ford Escort BDA rally cars for local Australian Rally Championship (Bond & Carr).ran a 3rd car for then world rally champion Bjorn Waldergard for Southern Cross International Rally.

:Stayed with team for 1980 running 2 Escorts in Australian rally Championship and ran 2 cars for Greg Carr and Ari Vatanen in 1980 Southern Cross.

team disbanded end of 1980.

:1981 Colin Bond/Masterton Homes Racing

continued with Colin bond running ex works escort in occasional rallies, also assisted in preparation of Masterton Homes Racing Ford Capri Touring cars for Bond and Steve Masterton.
