  • Ostomy & Continence.
  • Headhunted in an attempt to rebuild a fallen giant of the ostomy industry that occupied less than 2% market share when I arrived.
  • I was responsible for QLD sales and market share; I achieved my full revenue target and grew market share to 5%
  • I was elevated to take on the South Australia and Northern Territory regions and in the process absorbed a 1.5 person head count.
  • Through bi monthly trips to my new territories I grew the business 12% over a 12 month period.
  • I pioneered a community initiative which included guest speaker talks, product masterclass and interactive in person education for our customers throughout the country.
  • Over the course of 8 events including regions as remote as Mackay; I reached 124 end users which elevated sales and enhanced our reputation amongst customers and HCPS'.
  • Launched of a brand new continence portfolio and obtained trials in key QLD accounts such as RBWH, Princess Alexandra Hospital & Brisbane Urology.

  • Initially pan role Wound, Continence then exclusively Ostomy.
  • I quickly became proficient in my product knowledge, appointment setting and opportunity profiling.
  • Within a year I was recognised as a HPP and tasked with improving our key business which was the ostomy portfolio.
  • During the next 24 months I was the #1 performing sales person in the organisation vs target and also took on special projects with the global marketing teams.
  • I grew our market share to 39%; (inherited at 21%) and maintained a result above 35% for 22 consecutive months; since my departure this has declined back to the mid 20% mark.
  • Amongst my biggest achievements would be setting up the first Private Ostomy clinic in Victoria (which led to a national roll out) and was pivotal in the 'care program' launch which proved to be a fantastic tool in patient conversion and retention.
  • This aligned with the Company's global goal in moving from B2B to B2C.
