• As A bartender I Handled simultaneous customers, co-workers and business needs while avoiding unnecessary delays or errors
• I also Managed bar inventory, restocked supplies and placed orders for spirits, beer, wines, and mixers
• I was grateful enough to get the opportunity to learn cocktail prep & making, which turned into my position for the next 3 years. This taught me to work well under pressure with examples of 20 cocktails to just one docket
• I performed opening and closing duties which included full cleanup, Restock and Inventory, opened and closed cash drawers and reconciled against cash register reports at close of business, Ensuring workers had a way home and locking up the establishment

I started My Fabrication apprenticeship here where I Worked under guidance of experienced professionals to learn trade best practices and techniques.

Examples of skills I learnt were:

• proper and safe use and maintenance of power tools, hand tools and machinery
• Interpreted verbal and written instructions from work orders and welding blueprints
• Prepare items for assembly by positioning, aligning and securing parts using tools such as jigs and vises
• Inspected pieces for defects, measured, and checked with straightedges or templates for compliance with specifications
• Acquired knowledge on welding skills, techniques and welding machine maintenance

I worked on various projects including ladders, handrails, flanges and pipe works, with high-quality final results

We used a variety of different welding specs and variety of materials for different outcomes (Aluminium for endurance and lightweight, Stainless for items housed in corroded areas). We also would assist and fabricate items other trades from bas needed for their tasks

• Assist supervisor and Coworkers to verify task completion, meeting tight deadlines, and schedules
• Studied plans for each job to gain understanding of materials, tools and work required
• Loaded, unloaded, and moved material to and from storage and production areas
• Followed orders closely to help prepare for jobs, ready sites, complete assignments and clean up work areas at completion
• Stayed current with industry regulations and standards to produce cost estimates in compliance with all relevant laws

• Customer service and food preparation – I was one of the few that was cross-trained at hungry jacks, this entails being trained in all aspects of the business
• From working drive thru, food arrangements, detail cleaning and customer service, to system improvements
• Performed food preparation responsibilities to meet franchise standards for quantities, speed, and packaging
