• Seconded to Hancock Prospecting and Exploration with 2/1 FIFO roster as a Mobile Plant Operator to transport detailed earthworks, backfilling and dust suppression works
• Responsible for Safely operating Volvo and Caterpillar 336 Excavators to construct and rehabilitate RC and diamond construct up to 50m x 20m drill sump pads, backfilling, creating windows, rock breaking, loading trucks, managing stockpiles, performing benching, creating batters, trenching and digging sumps and V drains to specifications over very steep and isolated terrain
• Operate Hino Water Carts for dust suppression and soil conditioning procedures ensure that all vehicles are washed using high-pressure water blasters and refuelled at the end of each shift
• Utilise RIIVEH305F and TLIC0023 Four-wheel drive to transport materials, tools, equipment and fuel tanks to allocated work areas around the site to refuel mobile plant machinery
• Liaised closely with key stakeholders including client representatives, work crews, supervisors and other operators to ensure maintenance quality standards are achieved safely, on time and within the project budget to reduce downtime and increase productivity
• Communicating effectively utilising VHF, Tetra and UHF two-way radio following instructions from Loader operators to accept loads of dirt and transport to designated ROM or various stockpiles
• Maintained excellent housekeeping throughout the site, ensuring all tools, materials and equipment are put away and that the work area remains clear of obstacles and hazards
• Conducting daily vehicle and mobile plant machinery pre-starts including 360-degree checks including il levels, tyre pressure, buckets, cab, changing dust filters, AdBlue identifying and reporting any maintenance issues, performing minor mechanical repairs and reporting major issues directly to management, tagging out vehicles as required

• Safely operating a variety of machinery including Caterpillar 336 Excavator, Caterpillar 313 Excavator, Caterpillar 325D Excavator, Doosan DX300 Excavator’s with Diamond Bit Auger drilling holes in hard rock for Cyclone Tie downs on new HSVQ or Dongas
• Carrying out detailed earthworks, backfilling and dust suppression works including the construction and rehabilitation of drill sump pads of various sizes up to 50m x 20m, building wind rows, final trimming pads and rock breaking over very steep and isolated terrain
• Safely operate and maintain RIIVEH305F and TLIC0023 Four-wheel drive and transporting Excavators between sites HR and LR Hino Tipper Trucks and Pantech Trucks
• Safely operating Bobcat Skid Steer to carry out general site clean-up, stockpiling excess materials, cleaning up rubble and waste and ensuring work areas remain clean and clear of hazards
• Adjust driving to suit extreme weather conditions, participate in positive 2-way radio communication with other operators
• Ensure all daily operational KPI targets are being met safely and efficiently, complying with all environmental regulations and within the specified project timeframes
• Perform daily machinery prestart inspections, ensuring machines are in good working order, reporting any maintenance issues and tagging out if unsafe to operate
• Undertake essential machinery maintenance such as checking and topping up fluids, greasing and refuelling
• Maintain strict compliance with company and site safety policies and procedures, including JMP’s, JHA’s, SOP’s, hazard identification and reporting and promoting a safe working environment

• Safely operate 2-30 Tonne Excavators with all attachments, Hydraulic and Air Drill with a Diamond Tip, Jackhammers, Drill Rods, LVs, 2 – 14 Tonne Forklifts, EWP’s and Light and Heavy Rigid Vehicles
• Flying out to various sites including FMG completing any contracted work as per work scope whilst complying with all site rules and regulations
• All pressure testing, testing of loads whilst accurately documenting and recording all findings, jack hammering metal threaded steel rods into large concrete blocks or solid anchor points to secure cyclone-proof buildings and sea containers
• Correct usage of all drill rods with various dimensions to drive 20 to 100 kg steel anchors into the earth stabilizing construction and works
• Conduct and participate in daily pre-start meetings with clients, contractors and employees adhering to fit-for-work policies and understanding the work scope
• Ensure all daily operational KPI targets are being met safely, environmentally compliant efficiently, and within the specified project timeframes
• Undertake physical manual labor, lifting more than 30KG, following correct manual handling techniques when performing manual labor, lifting and moving materials and equipment
• Participate in positive radio communication with other operators, supervisors and other road users as per site rules and road safety guidelines
• Perform daily machinery prestart inspections, ensuring machines are in good working order, reporting any maintenance issues and tagging out if unsafe to operate
