DR GADEER ALI SARHAN

An initiative-taking, dedicated graduate Dentist with a unique background as an Oral Health Therapist (with Extended Adult Restorative Scope) before transitioning to Dentistry. With over 7 years of experience in the dental field, my background as an OHT and recent studies as a dentist combine a comprehensive understanding of meticulous care, patient communication and time management.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2019, I began my career focusing on preventive, periodontal and restorative care for patients in private practice settings across Metropolitan NSW. Driven by a desire to expand my knowledge, scope and impact, I pursued my postgraduate Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. This transition allowed me to deepen clinical skills and broaden my scope of practice, enabling me to address a wider range of dental needs for my patients. The dual roles have honed my skills in comprehensive treatment planning and care.

At current, I am passionate about promoting and treating oral health issues through evidence-based practices and patient-centred care. In addition to clinical practice, I have been a University of Sydney Clinical Educator for Periodontics and Tooth Conservation Simulation sessions held at the Australian Dental Association HQ in St Leonards, while also frequently participating in community outreach programs such as Filling The Gap. My dedication to both patient care and professional development reflects a holistic approach to dentistry that values quality, empowerment through education, and compassionate care.
