Summary

I present as a mature Science Academic with a lifelong love of learning. I have a PhD in Health & Life Sciences proceeding Scientific journal publications and Bachelor Hons Degree in Biomedical Sciences. I am preparing to complete a Master’s in Education (Primary and Secondary) this October 2024, having already completed placements in both middle years Secondary Science, and Primary School.

I have 20 work years experience across; hospital health statistical analysis and data management, pharmaceutical research, product development and leadership in drug manufacture.

Specific to teaching I have a diverse experience that stems 20 years from 2004, beginning with mentoring small groups of disadvantaged students from high school aged 15 - University aged 22. This was followed by 7 years of experience traveling all states and territories of Australia and New Zealand independently teaching adult Clinician workshops of 12-35 students over 2 day workshops. After obtaining diverse science industry experience I have since returned to teaching at school level to work within my value system that resides with people and making a difference.

I have an extremely strong work ethic coming from a farming background, with deep set values as a trusted, committed professional with a can-do adaptable attitude and affable positive nature. I am an Australian Citizen, with a valid WWC check.
