I consider myself to be a dedicated and hard working individual that sets out to achieve the best possible outcome in any situation I am placed in. I strive to both impress and deliver under any situation and I bring a positive and reliable attitude wherever I go.
During this role I managed the loading, manual and Forklift/Crane unloading, general up keep and mechanical checks of multiple Medium and Light Rigid trucks. My duties also included carefully adhering to load and restraint limits along with communicating constantly with customers and despatch, along with forklift crew and off-siders.
While working for myself I went under my fathers guidance as he runs his own landscaping business. I obtained an ABN, learnt to manage my own income tax, and expanded my experience in customer relations through managing and delivering their requests. Some of the tasks included drainage plumbing, erecting retaining walls, light excavations, and paving.
My job requirements were mainly physical in this role, being the delivery of building products supplied by CSR Gyprock to various commercial and residential sites in both remote and suburban areas. This required intense physical fitness and fatigue management, as well as clear communication skills and understanding of site safety requirements.
While working here I honed my customer relations skills and understanding of manual handling practices. I took part in delivering finished high end kitchen cabinetry and benchtops which required care and patience. I also dealt with the removal and delivery of furniture which also required a high level of care and consideration.
During this role I partook in the unloading and unloading of shipping containers. This required an understanding of the importance of stacking order in both breaking down and building up pallets and stacks of product.
During my employment at Claypave I worked on an assembly line fed by a conveyor belt moving freshly pressed pavers. I was required to build 800 brick stacks on a trolley enroute the kiln. This demanded intense precision and concentration as miss placed bricks at any point could bring down the stack and halt the belt.
My job as a crew member at McDonald's required me to learn the responsibilities of working in the fast food industry. This included attentiveness and alertness, customer service skills, time management, as well as constant attention to detail seeing as you're dealing with the health of others.
