Interests, Achievements, and Volunteering

  • From a young age I’ve been involved in sports, I took part in gymnastics for 10 years and within this time competed for Scotland for 3 successive years. This experience helped me grow upon my confidence and demonstrated that I can work independently under pressure from an early age.
  • Travel is another passion of mine as from March 2022 I travelled, worked, and volunteered in Australia, Thailand, and Vietnam. This experience has made me more organised and emotionally resilient as I was often forced out of my comfort zone.
  • For 2.5 weeks during April 2023 I volunteered in Hanoi, Vietnam. I was involved in teaching English to Vietnamese children and adults as well as supporting teenagers with Autism. For the autistic individuals I would plan activities which helped develop their English, creativity, and everyday life skills. Some of these activities included yoga, drawing, and taking the students on trips to the local supermarket to improve life skills.
