  • Proficiency in accessing and managing central lines, and administering blood products and stem cells.
  • Assisting doctors in performing bone marrow biopsies and assessing the patient throughout their procedure.

  • An overview of common oncological emergencies, the incidence, aetiology and diagnosis of oncological emergencies, identifying and discussing the medical and nursing management of oncological emergencies.


Male IDC workshop - April 2023

  • Attended the Male IDC insertion workshop and learnt the skills necessary to perform urinary catheterisation of male patients safely and competently.


Supervision Training - May 2023

  • Taught preceptorship principles to support nurses in different stages of their career development from undergraduate to post graduate.


Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course (ADAC) - August 2023
