I am a dedicated leader within the workplace.
I strive to be someone that other employees look up to and want to be like.
I have very good communication skills and am able to talk well to both customers and employees.
I am able to resolve issues and reduce the risk of potential problems before they happen.
I am also very good at multitasking and I am able to tackle many things at once.
My good communication skills is what developed me to becoming a Trainer and the leader of Orientation at McDonald's. I am able to connect well with all staff members and strive to assist others whenever I can.
I have been working at Macdonald's for 3 years now. Over the time I have learnt many valuable skills such as: problem solving, teamwork, leadership, training, communication, time management, and customer service.
I have made my way through the ranks at McDonald's becoming a Crew Trainer in less then a year, then quickly become an area leader for front of house. For the last 8 months, everyweek I have been running the Orientation shifts for our new employees. This has taught me some very valuable skills as i have to be a leader and be able to communicate and explain roles and responsibilities within the workplace.
For 4 months I worked as an Assistant Golf Coach to the Head Coach for the Ballarat Amateur Golf train Academy.
I took groups of students aged 4-16 through training programs. These programs targeted all aspects of the game. This job taught me how to be a leader and manage people, and deal with many kids at once.
During 2022 I had the opportunity to take part in school based work experience.
I completed this at Ron Smart Electrical Contractors. During this time I learnt some new hands-on skills and was able to develop my knowledge further.
Taking part in a job that requires equipment such as tools has helped me expand my skills with this type of equiptment.
Interest and hobbies:
I have always loved sport. I have played a variety of different sports. such as, Basketball, Football, Cricket, Golf, Ultimate freebee, and Mountain bike riding. Most of these sports are team games which has helped me expand my teamwork and communication skills.
I have participated in a charity mountain bike rides three times, riding over 400km in just 5 days, riding through some of Australia toughest and most scenic routes.
Over the 3 rides I was able to raise over $10,000 for charity. These rides taught me to be resilient and keep going when it gets tough. I believe this is helped with my determination within the workplace.
