My name is Elise Bartlett and i am 18 years old. I grew up on a cattle station and completed my primary education through Cairns School of Distance Education. My family moved in 2016 to a property in the East Palmerston area, where i finished my schooling at Good Counsel College, Innisfail. I believe my rural background and schooling make me better suited to assisting chidden in rural and remote settings as im accustomed to the lifestyle, day-to-day routines and stressors that station children grow up with. I am also aware of the stresses and work loads placed upon the parents and am happy to help with housekeeping and any daily chores. I have a passion for helping rural children have the same opportunities and level of education as every other child. My faith and upbringing has instilled in me a companionate and caring nature as well as a strong work ethic and drive.
This has been an on and off job for the last year helping my aunt who is a single mother of two boys.
