• Living Coast Plan: Two and a half year engagement project to incorporate local knowledge and community priorities in a Coastal Hazard Adaptation Strategy, including forecast impacts out to 2100, for the Moreton Bay region

• Led the development and implementation of strategic communication and engagement campaigns for Seqwater major projects (>$100 million)
• Managed significant external relationships including local councils, Building Qld and various state government departments
• Project evaluation and reporting

Key projects and achievements:

• Somerset Dam Upgrade: Establishment and coordination of a representative community group tasked with developing a Social Impact Management Plan. Coordinated development of Social Impact Evaluation under BQ processes.
• Leslie Harrison Dam Upgrade: Established and maintained relationships with adjacent property owners to inform of and manage construction related impacts. Managed relationships with state and local elected representatives. Implemented innovative Dam Tour program to engage community and build project support.

• Implemented strategic communications and engagement activity on the high profile Cross River Rail project, including during the statutory Request for Project Change process
• Coordinated the development of ‘plain English' content from technical documents
• Responded to Ministerial and parliamentary requests
• Team leader role with seven full time direct reports and coordination with two other state government communication teams. Also engaged part time and casual staff as required.

• Led strategic planning and delivery of community and stakeholder engagement on a masterplan to upgrade 80km of the Warrego Highway, mainly through rural areas, to motorway standard
