Summary

I am an organized and very self driven person and I love a good challenge. I am willing to try out new things and problem solve. I have been around horses for most of my life and loved every single bit of it. I am currently studying at ACAAS and have just finished my first year and going into my second year next year. I have also completed a Certificate III in Equine Studies at Box Hill Institute of TAFE. I am very interested in the surgery side of things and eager to learn all the other important parts of being a nurse in an equine hospital. I have been around thoroughbreds most of all and can handle them well.

I have also worked on a cattle farm and learnt how to castrated and tag cows.

  • I have been working at Woolworth's Ferntree Gully for over a year now. As an employee I have learnt how to communicate with people effectively as it is very important in this type of workplace. I learn new things quickly and by doing this have worked on the registers, bakery, deli and stacking the shelves. I am always at work on time as I do not like to let people down. While working at Woolworth's I have learnt to work fast and effectively in busy situations.

I have been riding horses for 10 years now all of these being thoroughbreds, I have owned my horse Chester for 5 years now and currently competing at 1* level. 

I also have a motorbike which is just for fun and I love the adventures of camping in the bush
