While I don't have a degree, I still have a strong knowledge of material science, analytical techniques, and troubleshooting methods for specialized equipment. I'm known for my precision, problem-solving, and pragmatism. Previous work has consistently contributed to improved efficiencies in laboratory operations. I would never claim to know everything about this field of study. I have learned new things every day of the six years I have held this role, but there is very little I cannot learn if you are willing to teach me.

  • Conducting metallurgical tests and analyses of ore samples for both routine and project work.
  • Operation and maintenance of metallurgical equipment in both the laboratory and the plant, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and verification.
  • Advise metallurgists, process technicians, environmental technicians, etc.
  • Input, maintain and analyse laboratory test data records.
  • Develop and refine various metallurgical process protocols, procedures, and standards.
  • Train any junior technicians on laboratory processes.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations during testing processes.
  • Keep a high safety standard in and out of the lab.
