Windows Active Directory Implementation

Currently working on a hands-on project focused on implementing Windows Active Directory within a virtual environment using Hyper-V. The project aims to establish an organizational infrastructure with access control policies based on the principle of least privilege. The primary goal is to create secure access controls for users within the network.

Goals for project:

• Utilizing Hyper-V to create a virtualized environment for the Active Directory implementation.
• Configuring multiple domain controllers to work seamlessly together for redundancy and scalability.
• Setting up DNS (Domain Name System) to ensure efficient name resolution within the network.
• Implementing DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) for automatic IP address assignment to network devices.
• Designing and implementing access control policies within Active Directory to enforce the principle of least privilege.
• Monitoring the network environment using Event Viewer for real-time analysis and troubleshooting.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing management of the Active Directory infrastructure.
