I attended Xavier College where I was the house Vice-Captain, which ultimately became the catalyst for my ability to manage, encourage, and constructively work with others. I was awarded 'best swimmer' in 2022 within the school swimming program, whilst also competing at a national level outside of the school sports curriculum.
I have extensive volunteer experience which was furthered throughout my time at Xavier College. I travelled to the Northern Territory in 2021 to aid in the construction of fences, gates, and other agricultural security measures. However, the main objective of the trip was to build connections and learn about the cultural significance that the indigenous community has in the region.
In late February I was invited to the Northern Territory to 'sit in' and watch the ongoing murder trial between Zachary Rolfe and Kumanjayi Walker, which has become a pivotal case for indigenous representation and protection of rights in recent times. I was to be seated with Barrister Andrew Boe and Greer Boe who were representing Kumanjayi Walker.
