Helping residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting,
and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Assisting residents during meals, ensuring they have proper
nutrition and hydration.
• Helping residents move around safely, including transferring
from beds to chairs, assisting with walking, and using mobility
aids like wheelchairs or walkers.
• Helping residents take prescribed medication according to a
care plan and keeping an eye on residents' responses to
medications and reporting any issues to nursing staff.
• Monitoring vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood
pressure, and observing changes in residents' physical or
emotional health and informing nursing staff of any concerns
or deteriorations in residents' health.
• Engaging in conversation, playing games, or providing
emotional support to help improve the quality of life for
elderly residents.
• Encouraging and promoting residents' independence where
possible by supporting them in tasks rather than doing them
entirely.
