my tasks and activities :

• Making formulation in lab and checking for application and its features by different testing including rheology, SG, solid content, PH and after drying the elongation, tensile strength and waterproofing and chemical resistance
• Developing new membrane, adhesive, sealant, coating, and related products
• This includes formulating new products and improving existing ones to meet specific performance criteria
• Conducting research on various materials and chemicals to enhance properties of existing products in water-based technologies
• Ensuring products meet industry standards and customer requirements
• This involves rigorous testing for quality, safety, and performance, as well as adhering to ISO9001:2015 quality management standards
• Working closely with other department, such manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance marketing, and sales, to optimizing manufacturing processes while ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness, keep sustainability and understand market needs to align product development with these needs
• Ensuring all products and processes comply with relevant industry regulations and standards
• This involves staying updated with changes in regulations and implementing necessary changes in product formulation or manufacturing processes
• Addressing technical challenges in product development or production processes by analyzing problems, proposing innovative solutions, and implementing corrective actions
• Maintaining detailed records of research findings, formulations, and test results
• Preparing reports and documentation for internal use and, where necessary, for regulatory compliance.

This company was established as the first manufacturer of car repair paint about 40 years ago. Currently, it is the only major producer of automotive paints while including, OEM, refinish and resin laboratories.

my tasks and activities:

• Performed routine tests and worked with laboratory tools and their calibration
• Alternated of new ingredients in various formulation to modify properties
• Identified best seller products chemically for formulating of new competitive products (reverse engineering) that can meet quality requirement
• Went through projects by research of relevant patents, manufacturers start formulation, supplier advice and doing experiments to deal with troubles step by step
• Made technical documents for products, including technical data sheets and test reports
• Communicated and worked effectively with sale unit, supply chain and production site
• Addressed customer's complaint by giving technical advice for product application
• Worked closely with QC staff to develop new test methods for raw materials
• Utilized fundamental knowledge of state of art engineering applications, computational analysis tools, patents and industry trends to carry out advanced research
• Optimized existing formulation and processes to improve product performance, process robustness and safety while reducing costs.

This company is one of the pioneers of powder coating that was established under the license of Mega company (UK) and all the products are certified by ISO 9001:2008-ISO and 45001:2018 EPIL Nano standards.

My tasks and activities :

• Applied powder coating technology such as extruder and particle size distribution measuring device
• Tested new materials in standard formulation
• Constructed sample based on consumer request
• Organized and sorted archive of colour samples and available panels and documents
• Prototyped to improve formulation technically and economically
• Modified produced batches whose colour did not completely match with approved laboratory sample(tinting)
• Investigated customer complaints to troubleshoot.
