Fatima Afridi

I started working as a cashier for Woolworths in 2022, assisting customers with their groceries. I also helped them with missing items and answered their questions about the ingredients. The trust I gained in this position earned me another position to work in accounts handling where I calculated the earnings of the store and processed it to the bank. I was also later asked to scan items on the shelf, print tickets for discounted items and to put them up on the shelves. In 2 years of time I learnt and managed to do all these tasks whenever I was needed to

• From the first of April, I started working as a full-time team member with a range of different customers who allowed me to learn in the departments of the store, thus broadening my knowledge and skills. I kindly provided them with answers to their questions and assisted them with missing items. I later started working on floor at the hardware section where I advised customers on bolts, cameras and more. My great service and hard work helped me receive bonus at the end of the year
