Accomplishments

  • My contributions to designing, building, and reporting a walkable robot for a group project resulted in its demonstration video being the second most “liked” and receiving full marks for the assignment.
  • The attention to detail and accuracy in building a siren circuit on a PCB provided me with a high distinction grade.
  • My ability to gather and present research, analyse data, and my effective presentation skills allowed me to achieve a high distinction grade in the Research in Engineering Practice unit.
  • A strong ability to be an effective team member along with the ability to deliver successful outcomes in a set time frame provided my group a high distinction in two CFD report assignments.

UAV Project (Feb 2024 – November 2024)

  • Group project to construct and report a UAV to meet certain conditions, responsible for designing the airframe, power and propulsion, designed a cowl using SolidWorks

Siren Design (Feb 2023 – June 2023)

  • Individual project to design and prototype a two-tone PCB siren circuit, software implemented to design the electronic circuit and PCB, soldered the components on a physical PCB to create the siren circuit, created a design portfolio documenting the PCB

Walkable robot (Feb 2023 – April 2023)

  • Group project for a walkable with two 4-bar linkages and slide cranks, reported the walkable robot design linkage parameters

Gearbox design (July 2022 – November 2022)

  • Group project to build a gearbox under certain RPM and torque values, produced a SolidWorks gearbox design performed gear and shaft analysis, contributed to reporting the gearbox design project

Modelling lifting device (Feb 2021 – June 2021)

  • Group project to construct a crane to move an object from two points, presented conceptual designs and participated in the crane’s construction, participated in reporting the modelling lifting device project
