- In this project our team aimed to close the knowledge gap of identifying the data requirements for converting CAD data into ePlan compliant digital data.
- Our team successfully identified and recommend DXF format as the most successful CAD format for the conversion of CAD to ePlan based on the investigations with various common CAD formats such as AutoCAD, LISCAD, LISTECH Neo, MicroStation, 12D, GeoCivil, and Magnet Office. Where we produced the mapping between 73 layers of standard single CAD format file, codesigned by Land Use Victoria, with ePlan LandXML schema has been produced.
- The requirements for mapping ePlan data to common GIS formats was investigated with the interoperability of the GIS standard with the LandXML standards and Shapefile was recommended with a note of further investigation required.
