Gemma Ivey

I have worked in the retail sector since 2014, and in 2015 started my own business - a small retail store selling high quality gifts and tableware. I ran 'The Bright Table' for nine years before its sale in 2024. I currently manage a retail concession for the Fiskars group, based in David Jones department store. Prior to working in retail, I had a career in allied health (audiology) and worked for government and not-for-profit organisations for approximately 18 years. I worked in clinical practice, specialising in hearing aid fitting, implantable devices and tinnitus management. I mentored new staff and student practitioners and presented at conferences locally and overseas.

I am self motivated with a proven ability to work independently, however I also really enjoy being part of a team. I have an excellent work ethic, and I get great satisfaction from helping people.
