In total, I was sent to six different locations. I was exposed to a variety of workplaces and learned to work well with my peers, be flexible to new workplaces, and learn new tasks.

The jobs I did included waitressing, cooking, janitorial, and front desk.

The experience I gained from waitressing is the etiquette of dignified customer service.

I worked 100% in English at this placement.

Not only did I improve my English, but I also gained the flexibility to work in a completely different society overseas.

I cooked Mexican, American and Italian food and I prepared vegetables and meat. I also worked as a waiter and my duties included the following: taking customer orders, serving food, cashiering, dishwashing and cleaning the restaurant.
