Introduce young athletes to the sport of rowing, and prepare them for competition against other schools. Enhance their technical skills and overall physical fitness via trainings in the gym and on the water. Provide sufficient positive and constructive feedback to facilitate improvement. Strong communication skills required to converse with students, parents, and fellow coaches. Foster an environment of positivity, acceptance, and inclusivity for all wishing to partake in the sport. Leadership, patience and empathy are all regularly employed as a rowing coach.
