• Serve as Competent Person for IMC Coal Resources, ensuring JORC code compliance

• Managed geological and geotechnical mapping for multiple mine sites

• Directed exploration activities, ensuring safety compliance and operational efficiency

• Coordinated exploration activities and managed geological databases

· Maintain/develop geological coal quality and structural models (Maptek Vulcan).

· Formulate the Monthly, Weekly and Daily coal extraction plans.

· Provide Geological direction to the pit technicians and mining contractor.

· Coordinate and complete exploration within the mine lease including logging, costing, sampling, planning and drilling.

· Monitor mining actions against daily plans and expected performance.

· Conduct weekly surveys of coal extraction areas including thickness measures for monthly reconciliation.

· Calculate expected tonnages from surveyed extraction areas and reconcile against recovered tonnages for monthly strip reconciliation.

· Update geological model as surveyed and as quality data becomes available.

· Produce plans and cross-sections of the geological model to the mining contractor and other colleagues to understand the resource and to aid in the planning of waste and coal movements.

· Create geological models for new exploration areas and provide information in various formats for interpretation and guidance to mine planners.

· Assist and plan exploration and log coal in all exploration areas.

· Geotechnical/geological mapping.
