Projects

  • Evaluation of Transition to Adulthood Practice Guidance, the objective of this evaluation was to assess the effectiveness of the implementation of the Transition to Adulthood Practice Guidance from an advocacy perspective, the goal was to determine what aspects of the initiative were successful, and identify areas for potential improvement. This evaluation involved a comparative analysis of data collected from two distinct periods: September 1, 2021, to November 30, 2021, (before the guidance was implemented), and September 1, 2022, to November 30, 2022, (after the guidance had been in place). The analysis focused on assessing key performance indicators, feedback from stakeholders, and service delivery outcomes to highlight the positive impacts, as well as areas where adjustments or enhancements could be made
  • Independent analysis of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) populations, the project involved an independent analysis of various articles, research papers, and local Townsville data, specifically focusing on the culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) population. The objective was to gain a deeper understanding of culturally sensitive practices and the types of information that need to be considered when working with CALD individuals This analysis provided valuable insights into the importance of applying culturally relevant frameworks to ensure effective and respectful engagement. By examining these resources, the project aimed to equip workers with the knowledge and tools necessary to apply best practices and frameworks that are both culturally sensitive and responsive, fostering an inclusive and effective working environment.
