bridge. It was a 4-lane highway with a 6-lane bridge across
the Kelani River. The total Project Cost is USD 920 Mn.

I was in charge of all the consultancy and supervision work of a Bridge Construction project in "A" class road and a Retaining Wall Construction project for the collapsed banks of the river "Gin". The bridge construction project was located on the AA002 road (CGHW - The road carrying one of the highest traffic volumes in Sri Lanka).
The projects were funded by the Government of Sri Lanka.

I was assigned as the chief representative of the Engineer for the Contract and led the Engineer's supervision team for the whole project period. The scope of the project consisted of constructing a road length of 6 km from the sub-grade level to the road surfacing & road furniture including the road structures such as culverts, lined drains, slabs...etc.
