having 5.27 km in length with 4 ramps. Further, the scope
includes 5.5 km (4-lane) of ground road construction. The
total Project Cost is USD 550 Million.

The elevated Highway was 3.0 km in length, having 2.0 km of steel box girder section (PK-1) and 1.0 km of concrete box
girder section (PK-2) including a 380m balanced cantilever
bridge. It was a 4-lane highway with a 6-lane bridge across
the Kelani River. The total Project Cost is USD 920 Mn.

I worked as a full-time Bridge Design Engineer in the prime bridge design organization in Sri Lanka. During this period, I was assigned to design and review Bridges and road structures (Culverts, Lined Drains, Retaining Walls...etc.) in several major projects in Sri Lanka.

The project consists of 2 steel deck bridges with a single span and 3 spans. One bridge was across a major river in Sri Lanka called 'Gin'. I hold the position of Project Manager's chief representative for the projects.

I was in charge of all the consultancy and supervision work of a Bridge Construction project in "A" class road and a Retaining Wall Construction project for the collapsed banks of the river "Gin". The bridge construction project was located on the AA002 road (CGHW - The road carrying one of the highest traffic volumes in Sri Lanka).
The projects were funded by the Government of Sri Lanka.

I was assigned as the chief representative of the Engineer for the Contract and led the Engineer's supervision team for the whole project period. The scope of the project consisted of constructing a road length of 6 km from the sub-grade level to the road surfacing & road furniture including the road structures such as culverts, lined drains, slabs...etc.
The project was funded by World Bank.

I have accumulated extensive experience in road maintenance and management, overseeing a significant stretch of 60 kilometres of main roads under my direct supervision. During this period, I successfully executed all construction tasks associated with these roads, demonstrating my proficiency in handling various aspects of the project.

The Project consisted of a Flyover and a 16.5 Km length of highway construction. I have gained experience on construction techniques of structures and roads, handling work groups, surveying, material ordering and recording, and dealing with the Engineer & the Employer of the Contract.
